Right, so...it's been a while hey! Sorry about that. I don't even really have anything to blame it on other than the usual: Christmas prep, work, illness, etc. Sorry kids!! Thanks also to those who badgered asked me to post again. It's quite nice to know that people actually like reading this blog.
So here is a quick re-cap of what you missed:
- This woman came over for a playdate/baking exchange with another friend of ours (the exact friend who is Raelene's best friend actually, and who apparently wanted to beat me up in High School. Turns out? She's wonderfully sweet. I just don't have a picture of her to post where she's not nursing and I didn't know if she would be cool sharing her nursing with the world). Here is Raelene with Chicken and Evan, two little kids looks good on her, no?
- Raelene had no respect for limits and made a ridiculous amount of treats. They are all wicked good!
- To counteract my love of treats I got some spanx (too bad they don't make arm spanx - I could really use those) and got all gussied up for MD's Christmas Party. We have a really good picture of us together but it was taken at the party and I don't have a scanner, so for now just imagine he's beside me!
- Some other things I've been up to. Well I got a promotion at work - woot woot! Turns out they like me there.
- Also, I am finally finished Christmas shopping and I've wrapped all my presents - how wicked is that!!
- Sunday I was grocery shopping. When I got out of the car I almost stepped on a full bottle of Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum. It was new and sealed. So I decided to pay it forward and I put it in the Food Bank Bin. Now whenever I'm stressed I take a moment to think about the person who found it and I can't stop laughing. I think this will be my new "de-stress" moment for quite some time (my old one was an email I got from this girl once who wrote "of course I don't actually think your that smart so I should not give you all the credit" hahahaha. Isn't it funny when someone calls you stupid but makes a basic grammar mistake in the same sentence).
Now that you've read this, you forgot why you missed me haven't you!!
